Tales of Halloween town : Reala's Return

Hi it's Carol , and I'm back with another tale. This time is about when Nights idiot brother came back for Revenge on us.  I can't remember the exact year. I think it was at least a year after I found my way back to Halloween town. Oh right that means this next adventure was when I was 14, and Lantern was 13.

In the living room of Skellington manor

Lantern : this is so embarrassing, are you narrating again ?

Carol : but I am telling this story.

Lantern : rolls her eyes, you need to read less comic's.

Carol : comic books have the coolest narrations.

Lantern : okay fine, just try not to exaggerate the details.

Carol : Lantern when have I ever exaggerated ?

Lantern : well there was the time where you claimed you saw a slug the size of a bus when it was really just junk from holiday trash hill.

Carol : but it looked like a slug to me.

Nights : uhhhh can we get to the story yet ?

Carol : right, now where was I ?

Lantern : you lost your place ? Shakes her head.

Carol : never mind  I remember now.
  
Carol was adjusting to life in Halloween town just fine, and still recovering her memories. So far she had some of them back but not all of them. Nights kept a close watch on his girl friend cause he had a strong feeling that his brother would one day escape and come after them all. Pikachu played catch with zero quietly in the corner of the living room. Lantern had been drawing in a new sketch book she had just bought with her allowance. Lantern had gotten into drawing as a new hobby. Sally came into the living room, to check on everyone. Your father should be back from town hall soon. Sally came by Carol. How is your memory coming along ? She had asked. Carol replied it's getting better, also I'm glad that lock, Shock and Barrel are working doing all sorts of jobs in Valentines town for what they did. Those bad dreams are becoming less frequent. Sally hugged her, sounds like you'll will have all of it back in no time. Carol complained, mom you can let go now please. Sorry about that, I'm just glad your starting to feel a lot better. Lantern giggled, your just going to have to get used to it. Nights looked very distracted cause he was looking out the window. Nights are you okay ? Is something wrong my love ? Nights are you even paying attention ? Carol had asked. Sorry Carol, I have a strong feeling that my brother has escaped. He won't be happy to see us next time I know that much. Nights why are you so worried ? Even if Reala has escaped we can beat him again. Carol I can't help it if I worry, I wouldn't know what to do if he were to harm you.
Lantern watched them as they were talking, she had heard of Nights brother. Lantern knew that Reala was very cruel cause of the stories that her sister had told about Reala. Jack came though the front door, earlier he had been at town hall. As usual the mayor was pestering him about next years plans for Halloween. Perhaps the mayor needs to learn to relax, no chance of that happening Jack thought to himself. Even though he got annoyed with his job, coming back home to his family each day made it worth it. I bet your glad to get a break from the mayor. You have no idea Sally, he thought that some of the bats were missing. He held Sally close to him and kissed her. You promised we were going to visit Christmas town in a few days remember ? Lantern I didn't forget, it will be nice to take a vacation. One of the other holiday worlds, right ? Carol had asked. That is correct, not sure if you remember visiting Christmas town. We used to take you and Lantern there sometimes when you two were younger. I can't wait to see that place, I bet it will be like frozen Bell in Nightopia Nights had said. Come on, lets go explore the graveyard for a bit Nights. Nights nodded in agreement. Hey I want to come to, please pleaded Lantern. Zero and Pikachu also wanted to come. Try not to be out too late, we still have some packing to do before our trip Jack had reminded them. Even though Jack and Sally knew that Carol could fight her own battles they were just as protective of her as Nights is. More often then not they would make sure she didn't go to parts of town alone. What they didn't know is that Reala was secretly watching his brother, waiting to make his next attack. He wanted revenge for what happened last time. He wanted to wait for Night's girlfriend to be alone. If he attacked her, that would distract his brother Nights for sure he thought to himself. Later in the graveyard Carol was jumping on the tombstones, being a show off like she sometimes was. Pikachu and Zero just relaxed by one of the benches. Come on I bet you can't keep up with me Lantern. Carol quit being a show off, and don't blame me if your arm comes undone again. Nights couldn't help but laugh at the two while they teased each other. Carol tripped on her way to the next tombstone, Nights caught her as she fell. Thanks Nights,although the fall wouldn't of been that big. Nights replied I am always happy to help you.
