The trouble with needles

Carol was trying to hide the fact that she needed her arm sewn again cause she hated to even look at the sewing needle anytime she was patched up. So she tried hiding in the living room. Nights her boyfriend walked right up to her. "Are you trying to hid from your mom again?" He asked her.


"Nights be quiet she will hear you,please don't say anything I would rather not see that needle."Carol complained. "You may hate looking at the needle, still couldn't you just look away from it anytime your getting repaired?" Nights asked. "Well that might help a little, but then I am still tempted to look." Carol sighed.

Carol heard some foot steps and they were getting closer. Carol tried to hide behind the sofa. That was the worst hiding place in the whole house. It was no use her mother had spotted her very easy.

"Come on Carol be reasonable, let me fix your arm. It won't take that long and it doesn't hurt at all." Sally told her. "as soon as Sally took out the sewing needle Carol had to look away so she didn't scream. She squirmed a little bit much to her mothers annoyance.

"Will you hold still? The more you move the longer this takes me to get done." Sally explained. "Okay I will be good" Carol replied. "You must think I am silly for being scared of something as small as a needle huh Nights ?Carol asked him

"Your not silly for that at all, I am sure there are many people in the world that get scared of needles" Nights exclaimed. "I suppose that is true nights." Carol replied.

"There, all done. Your arm is good as new, now was that so bad?" Sally asked. "I guess not but it will take me time to get used to that." Carol said.

Lantern was laughing on the sofa. "Lantern it's not funny at all." Carol shouted. "yes it was, your face was priceless." Lantern giggled. Carol rolled her eyes. She whacked her sister with a pillow.

"Carol is playing unfair" Lantern shouted out. "Well you started it Lantern." Carol said. "No you did Carol." Lantern replied back.

"Don't even start you two." Jack said as he gave them both a look.

That shut the sisters up quickly. Nights snickered about this.

"I am sorry if I am not fully used to being back here yet." Carol said as she looked at the ground.

"It's just taking you sometime, even your friend miss Raven says don't rush your self." Jack replied.

"I know, it's just you think I would get used to stuff easy especially after Oogie being gone."Carol said.

"You were away a long time, and you only have some of your memory back so far. You will get better overtime." Jack said as he hugged Carol.

Carol smiled. Even she had a hard time adjusting now and then. She knew things would be okay cause her friends and family would help her. Nights as well.

Pikachu and Zero were once again fighting over a squeaky toy. Jack didn't find that amusing while everyone else did.
